News from the deep, dark dwelling that is BOOM! Studios headquarters is that our Pre-Order store on BackerKit will be closing next week on Friday, June 14th.
Ahead of Surveys heading to your inboxes soon, this is the final call for you and any friends that may have missed the campaign to snag these incredible books and other limited edition collectibles before fulfillment.
The Survey period will be the time to check everything you’ve ordered, as well as the unlocked Stretch Goal items you qualified for during the initial campaign. You’ll be able to add-on any last items, as well as determine your final shipping costs and sales tax, if applicable, and confirm your mailing address to ensure smooth fulfillment.
A reminder if you’ve already reserved an order through the initial campaign, do NOT use the Pre-Order Store to add-on items as it will create a separate order for you in BackerKit. Please wait until you’ve received your survey to add-on any additional items.

Hello, Fellow Explorers of Jareth’s Realm!
We’re continuing to create the amazing new LABYRINTHADAPTATION in the deep, dark dwelling that is BOOM! Studios headquarters and are excited to share more of it with you in the coming months.
In the meantime, we wanted to make sure you knew that we are also working with The Jim Henson Company to re-release the original LABYRINTH comic adaptation, originally published by Marvel Comics in 1986, as part of our Archive Edition line. We were able to track down the original printer files restoring and re-releasing this beloved comic to modern audiences in comic shops. The first issue is available now and the second issue is in stores on May 8th, including some beautiful new variant cover editions!

To find a comic shop near you, head to the Comic Shop Locator Service. We recommend calling or emailing ahead to confirm they have copies of JIM HENSON’S LABYRINTH ARCHIVE EDITION #1 & #2 available for purchase. If you don’t have a comic shop nearby, many comic stores offer mail order service through their website.
Also, if you are a fan of FARSCAPE, you still have until next Wednesday, May 8th to reserve your copy of the 25th Anniversary editions of the complete FARSCAPE graphic novel library, a brand new FARSCAPE 25th Anniversary Special, and other limited edition collectibles through our BackerKit preorder store! Happy New Year! Yes, we know it’s the end of January, but as the Goblin King said, “I have reordered time. I have turned the world upside down…” so we hope your 2024 is off to a magical start!
We’ve been toiling away at the deep, dark dwelling that is the BOOM! Studios headquarters working on our new adaptation. One aspect we’ve been having a wonderful time developing is our cover approach for the single issue comic book series, and we’re thrilled to give you an exclusive sneak peek at the first couple of variant covers!
The two below, which will be for Issue #1 and Issue #4 respectively, are both by Elizabeth Torque, known for her cover art for Marvel Comics’ biggest franchises including Uncanny X-Men, The Mighty Captain Marvel among many more! Elizabeth is also a massive LABYRINTH fan having created her own fan art based on the film, so she was at the top of our list to contribute to this project.
